For the visual bowl design :

A natural pattern/ effect ie marble , natural indentations 

Be calming to look - hence why I've gone for a curve rather than a square. 

Colour consideration - psychological effects - green calming etc 

Do I allow space for potted plants to be placed inside this pot? 

How shallow is it going to be? 

For the bowl design I want it to reflect the nature of the project.I decided to carry out a few experiments with the plaster to see how it takes pigment, and if there is a way to create a marbled effect.
